2. Accuracy of Site Information & Gemstone Optical Variations

We endeavor to present accurate product descriptions, ring size conversion scales (US/AU/UK/EU), metal purity hallmarks (925 Silver, 14K/18K Gold Vermeil), and pricing. Gemstone Play-of-Color Notice: Natural and lab-created opals possess unique amorphous silica structures that produce distinct flashes of red, green, blue, and gold depending on ambient lighting angles. Slight individual differences in color distribution, fire pattern, and hue saturation from photography are inherent, celebrated attributes of opal gems. 3. Opal Care & Thermal Vulnerability Disclaimer

Delicate Gemstone Care Notice: Opals have a Mohs hardness rating of approximately 5.5 to 6.5 and contain natural microscopic water content, making them sensitive to sudden temperature extremes, high heat, ultrasonic cleaners, and harsh chemical solvents (such as household bleach, chlorine, and alcohol-based fragrances). Never submerge doublet or triplet opals in boiling water or subject them to ultrasonic vibration. Remove opal rings prior to high-impact activities, gym workouts, or dishwashing. Opal Vault is not liable for crazing, cracking, clouding, or dislodged stones resulting from thermal shock, chemical exposure, ultrasonic cleaning, or rough physical impacts.
